Since 2013, Majestic Whale Encounters has been creating deeply respectful, life-changing whale swimming experiences in Tonga. We are a small, family-run business built on a genuine love for whales, the ocean, and the communities we work alongside. This isn't mass tourism—it's thoughtful, ethical travel designed to honour the whales first, and our guests always.

Join us in the pristine islands of Haʻapai, one of the most remote and unspoiled whale swimming destinations in the world. With very limited whale swimming licences and minimal boat traffic, encounters here feel quiet, intimate, and profoundly special. Often, it's just us and the whales.

Your fully inclusive experience includes beachfront accommodation, inter-island flights, all meals, transfers, and five unforgettable days on the water swimming with humpback whales in their natural environment. Each day is guided by the whales' behaviour, ensuring encounters are calm, respectful, and aligned with best-practice ethical standards.

To protect both whales and guest experience, our groups are intentionally small:

• Majestic has full charter of the boat with a maximum of 8 guests total
• Only 4 guests in the water at any one time

This allows for unhurried, meaningful encounters—and ensures the whales are never overwhelmed.

Your traditional Tongan fale is set within a lush tropical garden, just steps from the ocean and an amazing snorkelling reef. Comfortably furnished and thoughtfully designed, each fale features:

• Spacious ensuite bathroom with solar-powered hot water and excellent water pressure
